I’ve seen a theme lately of people struggling with letting go. It is work to change your thinking, and move towards acceptance of what is. But, you can if you really try.
The fear of the unknown is one of the top three fears people have. Then holding onto things you cannot change— past, present, or future – – can cause you stress, anxiety, depression, and just overall unhappiness. What if you really could let go of the things that you cannot control? What if you could let go of taking what others may say to you personally? What if you could have faith in yourself and your abilities? Do you feel like you then would be carrying a lighter load?
Letting go is a difficult process to move through. It can be painful. Yet, with practice and persistence, you can find your way towards leading a more peaceful, happy life.
