Since having served young adults struggling with substance abuse or identity issues, the elder population facing mental health and physical challenges in a new living environment, substance abuse and mental health diagnoses, and people struggling with adjusting to creating a new life for themselves following choices, traumas, losses and grieving them; this has lead me to focus my skills mostly on a motivational and cognitive-behavioral approach, meaning how your thoughts and behaviors are related.  I also have a humanistic and existential nature, meaning I very much value your needs, and am there for you unconditionally.  I care about where you see yourself in the world.  With your struggles, come emotions.  I work with you to find ways to cope with your emotions, whether this is something you are diagnosed with, or if it is due to certain struggles or events.
